While Harper and Legend are like night and day, they are attracted to each other like magnets. Despite the baggage and complications of their past lives, they attempt to get to know one another. Will they be able to leave their old lives behind in pursuit of a life together?

Great Love Story

This was a classic Love Story from the beginning to the end. Very good read!

Good story

This is my first book from this author. The storyline overall was good. What took some time adjusting to was the Mirron Willis narration voice. It wasn’t the best southern draw for me. It initially made want to return the book. I pushed through and actually ended up enjoying the story. This was also my first book narrator by Mr. Willis.

Too much crying for a love story

I'm not sure if this was meant to be a comedy but I'm sure I laughed more than I got into my feels. Also the main female character cried way too much for me. Overall the book was entertaining but not in a romantic way.

Harper was a strong woman raised by a single father. A father that she loved. She thought she was on her way to a love that she would hold on to. Only to be proving wrong. Zaire was not the best man he could have been for the woman that Harper was. She did not have the best relationship with her mother or her sister. But her cousin was a rock in her life. One weekend changes the course of her life and her future.

After her reality is snatched from her Harper take a trip to a concert at the Houston Livestock Show. Not in her dreams did she expect to have a bull rider capture all her attention and release some of her inhibitions. Legend Semien was a legend in the making on the rodeo circuit. I did not care for some of his vices but he was a male, young, and in the prime of life. Harper was not someone he was expecting but the spark was there. The two were so different yet the same. He broke his own rules for her. He made changes that were not like him.

Both Harper and Semien find something to invest in no matter the struggles their past places before them. Truths and lies are exposed. Family and friends are test.

I always seem to love Mari and the performances she provide. Mirron this was my first experience. I must say it was most certainly different and memorable.

Overall good story

The narrators we all wrong. But if you can get beyond the narrators and focus solely on the story it’s a good story. But the narrations were all wrong.
