Forgive and know God
It’s not a “how to” book on forgiveness, but it’s close. It contains an autobiographical description of how the author forgave through Christ. She endured separation at age 3 from her mother and abuse as a teenager. She forgives and recovers by entering the “room” which is the remembered event. She asks what was different about what she wanted to have happened and what trauma actually happened. I didn’t quite understand why she looked in the mirror through her left eye. At points the book rambles as she talks about her visions. Be prepared to hear a lot of Scripture. She wrote the book in 10 days. It could have been revised to be more coherent and the technique would have been easier to understand if it had been explained better. But in a world starved for forgiveness, this book is very worthwhile.
