Story
Blended whiskey, blended family. Thomas Bennet is a successful second son, a man who went into trade when his older brother, Harold, inherited Longbourn. When Harold passes, Thomas and his two children (James and Elizabeth) return to Longbourn to live with Harold’s widow (Fanny) and four daughters (Jane, Mary, Catherine and Lydia). A full length novel that is a clean, low angst reimagining of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

Mispronunciation weird for an actual audio book
Reviewed: 11-18-24
The mispronunciation that bothered me the most was Darce as decor. The few other blendddnin, but this one was prevalent and disruptive.
The story is one of my favorite Pride and Prejudice variations and I would highly recommend it on Kindle as well.

I liked the tv show I saw years ago. So I decided to give this a try. I was not disappointed. Great feel of old detective with a fantasy twist. I will be trying the others in the series.

Story
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, rise from the sea, a war begins that will take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon is devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes.

Movie is so much better than the book in this case. Did not like the narrator. It just lost a lot in translation.
