This book is sad. It is a sad book and it is also a happy book and it is a heart-wrenchingly good time. The second half of this book flies faster than the speed of light, but that is an SJM specialty. This series holds a special place in my heart and this book is everything I remember and more the second time around

If you are a fan of other ya fantasy books w/ strong female leads, an interesting cast of side characters, and a little bit of comedy you’ll probably like this book series! It has been my favorite for a long time now and I’m on my first reread here and it’s just as good if not better than I remember
