Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Liked the tag-team approach between mom and daughter.
Most of the story was read with very little expression and low energy. Sadness despair and hopelessness was very prevalent. The honest personal feelings were what kept this story alive. I'm glad to have listened to this.

Story
What would you be willing to give up to gain the presence of God in your life again? Many of us sign up for a physical detox program, thinking that if our bodies are healthier, then we're healthier. But a healthy body doesn't do us a lot of good if we are spiritually malnourished. Welcome to The 40-Day Sugar Fast, a fast that begins with us giving Jesus our sugar and ends with Jesus giving us himself - the only thing that can ever truly satisfy our soul's deep hunger.

Rewarding and successful

This is more than just a "how to" it directs the root of running to more than just sugar, but other replacements. Loaded with perfectly applied Scripture. This places our false fillers and entanglement in perspective, but gives the guidance to value ourselves in Jesus. I believe, that this comes with prayers (for the readers) and I truly know, this has helped me with this journey.

Story
The Kennedy name has long been synonymous with wealth, power, glamor, and—above all else—integrity. But this carefully constructed veneer hides a dark truth: the pattern of Kennedy men physically and psychologically abusing women and girls, leaving a trail of ruin and death in each generation’s wake. Through decades of scandal after scandal—from sexual assaults to reputational slander, suicides to manslaughter—the family and their defenders have kept the Kennedy brand intact.

Well written, but the authors's slight distain for men, in general shows through. Very interesting over all.

Highlighted the individuality and "stories" of these unique and complex Kennedy women. Hyperbolic and political bias are woven throughout, but overall a very interesting read!
