Journalist Storytelling
Reviewed: 08-31-24
This book is excellent. I feared a somewhat dry journalistic approach of a case I had followed throughout. I was so pleased that I was wrong. One of the best true / crime legal thrillers I have listened to. Highly recommended.

I should have stopped listening
Reviewed: 05-12-24
Don't get me wrong, I admire Hillary Clinton.
With her background as a senator and ask Secretary of State, she has proven her herself to the American people as a competent
and formidable person.
Given her insights and experience, I was so disappointed in the story she chose to write.
If she wanted to use her experience to write a political thriller, she could have done so much better.
I have listened to over 700 books and, honestly, I have only chosen not to finish a very small number of those books.
This book, however, was so bad that I thought of ditching it about a half-dozen times.
I should have listened to y instincts as this book was a big, big disappointment and a waster of one credit.
The only redeeming feature was her portrayal of Donald Trump, an opportunity to embellish which she chose not to take.

After reading a dozen anti-Trump books I thought I should read a book by an establishment Republican. I’m glad that I did. John Boehner is a good man it’s too bad that we no longer have him to balance off so many of the fools that have taken his place.

Sorry to say this is one book which should have an abridged version. Greg Olson does a great job in relating this case but the story could have been shortened by at least 1/3.

Worth the Half Credit I Paid...or Maybe Not

If you're into apocalyptic stories, this one is the 180 degree opposite of Cormac McCarthy's "The Road."
I'm not sure which was more hollow, the storyline, the writing or the narrator. I guess they all blended in to make one of the most forgettable books I have ever listened to.
