Wow! This is a great book

I really applied the author's recommendations by adjusting a few elements of my diet. It is simple and efficient. I like her way of approaching the changes that aging brings to the body and why it is necessary to adapt our way of life in order to maintain the faculties to do activities, to work, to move. Stretching exercises reduced my back pain.
I better understand the risks of inflammation caused by lack of exercise, and I approach in the same direction. Walking reduces my stress and brings me well-being. Now adding moderate exercises that will work the core is my next step.

I would have avoided many quarrels, if I had had this information beforehand. It wasn't yesterday that I had the problem of setting limits. It never occurred to me to think of all the aspects of life where you can put limits, especially on an emotional level. I need it, and so do the others. With these exercises, I find a better management of time and emotions.

Developing skills means that they can be improved with practice and effort. Children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder have engaging personalities and amazing intelligence. They must show a lot of courage to succeed in certain simple tasks which are, for them, a series of information to manage at the same time. In adolescence, like all other children, they feel the need for independence. They want to make decisions and have the freedom to make their choices.
How then can we accompany him in this stage of his development? There are many aspects where we can help achieve this goal. The teenager can learn to take care of his hygiene, to get involved in the preparation of meals. Expressing his emotions for his mental health can be quite a challenge, but an environment where he feels safe and with people he knows will help a lot. It's a long process. Explain to him that life is not always rosy, and that it is okay to need to withdraw to be alone, quiet.
Through a different structure of the cerebral cortex, we learn which are the most difficult to manage for a person with ASD. They have poor short-term memory, difficulty maintaining attention and motivation to achieve a task, and an inability to plan.
I loved this book. He made me love these children who think differently and that it is possible to communicate with them by listening to them, by recognizing the efforts they make and understanding them, by showing an openness to what they love with passion.

I learned while listening to this book that Taekwondo is not only a sport for strengthening and toning muscles, but also improves concentration and endurance. Those who practice it claim that it brings inner peace and helps develop discipline. Taekwondo is a strength-based sport that requires a lot of mental exercise.
In addition to building muscle, students learn to make quick decisions, keeping in mind to avoid hitting, not hurting. It's an art, that's for sure.
