Karl Strong is lonely. Not quite alone, which is, perhaps, worse. His best friend moved away, his mother died, and his father has crawled into a hole and pulled it in after him. He is a talented athlete, but after high school, he lets himself go and dies of a heart attack. Luckily, this is Middle Falls, where death is rarely the end of the story. Karl will have every chance to find what he needs.

You’d think by book 18 it would start getting old but that’s just not the case! Yes each character has the same kind of journey but for totally different reasons, totally different lessons learned in totally different ways! Karl is one of my favorites in middle falls! His end game took me by surprise. You never know until the very end of these books what the character is truly supposed to be learning in order to move on and I like that! It makes me think that no matter how dark life might get, don’t give up! Bring on book 19! As a reader I’m taught things every time I read one of this series! I can’t give this series and author enough praise!! Ten stars if I could!

I listened twice to get the whole story I like the premise and will be continuing with the next book. Good writing good characters… I can’t find anything to complain about go ahead and give it a listen I think y’all will like it

Awesome trilogy

I waited to leave a review until I finished the first three books. At first I wasn’t convinced that this would be my taste and it took me until mid way through the second to really fall in love with the characters and the world that’s just cause I’m I little less of a fight/ military/war kinda person and more of a fantasy magical kinda fighter person when it comes to reading but I must say nose that the first part of the story is finished I’m so pleased almost all my questions are answered and in a way that is believable! I thought I’d be done after this third book but…. Now I must continue to find out what happens to these people in our far far future! On to books 4 5 6 …. Um, how many are there now?? Anyway… just READ IT! you won’t be sorry!

From the outside, Rebecca Wright had an enviable life, and she enjoyed that envy. She had a beautiful house, handsome husband, and a no-limit credit card. What she didn't have was empathy. But, it's never too late in Middle Falls. A lesson that isn't learned in one lifetime can be learned in the next, or the next. Rebecca may need every chance she can get.
