Story
One thing that held constant in Shelby Donovan’s life was her career. As a world-renowned artist, Shelby’s paintings traveled the globe, landing in museums and homes across the nation. But what she couldn’t seem to get under control was her love life. Her mother insisted it was because of her best friend, Sebastian Cartwright. They’ve known each other for years. Sebastian and Shelby shared everything; embarrassing moments, secrets, dating tips, affection, and even an explosive kiss during one tipsy night on Shelby’s birthday.

if you want something to just listen to to pass time give this a try. I like to finish what I start, but I almost didn't finish thus one. The story fell boring and a lot of times the plot had holes which is annoying. the narration was excellent.

I was really into this story. It starts off really good and interesting , it takes some time to adjust to the narrator, but then it picks up and it was really good story line, but towards the middle and end it just got silly. The narrator never gets better don't get me wrong if she was doing one character she would be okay, but she sound the same for everyone, her sexy voice is childish. she does not know how to read intimate scenes, and she didn't even try to give the Latina character with a heavy accent an accent at all, she didn't even try. Instead she sound like she held her nose to make her sound stuffy, just horrible . Then there's the story, grown women all of them acting shy and inexperienced about sex, they all were to old for that card to be played. But the worse is the selfishness for a man theme, Josephine, basically never even tried with her 18 yr old daughter, she just put her out when she couldn't deal with her, no effort to help her heal, talk about generational curses the constant bragging on one child while bashing the other was depressing. Sam was too childish to even listen to a doctor before jumping to conclusions, and than to be so dismissive of Ethan like what was the point of him, broke his heart and we never hear from him again what a waste of a good guy. and Andrea why did a child have to do what she didn't have the balls to do. I was over these 3 by the end. I didn't root for any of them but the story was interesting enough to finish it.

Story
There’s no such thing as a right time to fall in love. It happens, or it doesn’t. Possible to fake, but not force. Impossible to simply wish away. This is the path that Rob and Iris find themselves on. He’s adjusting to cross-country move, a new job, and an existence that doesn’t include the woman he thought he’d spend his life with.

Snooze fest

I just listened to another book by this author and really enjoyed it. So, despite some honest reviews I decided to give this one a go. and I regret it. This story was just boring. Long, drawn out, and boring. it never gets exciting. it just ends. A few times I wanted to just stop listening but I figured I may as well try to finish it through, and it was honestly a struggle. I think I want my credit back on this one.

Story
If there’s any one thing Pierre and Logan have in common, it’s their ability to invite snap judgements based on shallow views of who they are. Logan is the privileged only daughter of a respected family whose legacy runs long and deep. Pierre is the moody, orphaned son of big screen royalty who couldn’t possibly live up to the prestige of his pedigree. Or maybe not.

This story is 5 stars all around. I am loving these 2 narrators together I want more from them together. For me everything was perfect. Some reviews suggested that the writer gives too many details, but I disagree she told a story and it was beautiful, I loved reading the journey of this story, I like the details, I don't like stories that seem rushed , 2weeks and they are in mad love ready to have a baby. This story was fun and interesting, the ending was bittersweet I loved it but I was sad that it was ending, I will miss them

Story
Asha's life is no fairytale, by any stretch of the imagination. There was no kind, generous father to care for and protect her from the Vegas that exists beyond the glitz and glamour of The Strip. No wise, doting mother to look over and guide her, passing down essential lessons and leading her to the right path. And certainly, no Prince Charming just around the corner, ready to rescue her from working late nights to cover steadily mounting bills.

I could not go to sleep and I have work in the morning! This story was everything I hoped it would be and some. Great character development for the main characters, I would love to learn more about the supporting characters. it was just the right touch of everything without over doing it. I'm honestly not a big on the intimate scenes but I feel these were written quite well without the over kill of the same old. I love that we never hear I love you, I hate when characters are in love after only dating for 1 week or something. great story.

Part 2 is definitely better than part 1. Gabby was so much more relatable and mature. I'm so glad she found herself. I wish she had dated more though. Terrance tried it. I enjoyed the story.

I loved it. It felt so personable, I'm so happy that I chose to listen with audible. I knew that Michelle was a beautiful person inside and out but after hearing her personal story I admire her even more. Such an inspiration. I wish she was around when I was younger she is everything that the little black girl in me needed. I love everything that she does for the community, I love her strength and how grounded she is. Also the true silent heroes of this story are her parents. I've definitely learned somethings that I will like to try and to practice for my own family. Such a beautiful story of a beautiful brilliant First Lady. Thank you for sharing your story, thank you for being who you are.

Sixteen-year-old Starr Carter moves between two worlds: the poor neighborhood where she lives and the fancy suburban prep school she attends. The uneasy balance between these worlds is shattered when Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. Khalil was unarmed. Soon afterward, his death is a national headline. Some are calling him a thug, maybe even a drug dealer and a gangbanger. Protesters are taking to the streets in Khalil’s name.

This book exceeded my expectations. It's brilliant and beautifully written. She does an excellent job telling a story from all points of views and staying honest and true to character. I don't think anything was over done. And this narrator for this story has to be one of the best I've encountered. she brought so much life to each and every character. Great read. Must read. Definitely an emotional banger!
