A good book to pass time by while you wait for your other book series
The speed of this audio was gentle and mature the characters dealt with experiences I can relate too...I enjoyed listening. Truthfully at the end I did fast forward some parts especially Jo parts because it was predictable but overall 3 1/2 stars.

Homophobic
The story was pretty good. It just could’ve gone without the homophobic slurs and gay bashing. Not really big on religion so it was very cringey at parts. The story itself was actually decent.

If you love love this is for you
Literally loved this entire book but most importantly I loved the fact that it ended in love. I’ve been finding that most books that I read or listen to especially with the characters being people of color normally end in heart break & brokenness. It was so refreshing that everybody had their happy ending even with all the drama & sadness. This book is for those who love a fairy tale happy ending.

Good read with flaws
This overall story was good. but as the story evolved to the last few chapters, I found myself yelling at audio over Andrea. Ugh, she was so business savvy but was clueless on protecting herself from her enraged husband/ex!!
Josie basically gave her dtr to the streets!! Yes she was difficult but she did nothing to correct the behavior before it went horrible!
Lastly, descriptions in the book was so exaggerated in details.....never thought I say that!! :)

Predictable, But Still an Awesome Read
For me I think the book was very very good. Some things were predictable, but yet still kept you on your toes. I loved the narrator, because her voice was smooth like butter and to me flowed so well throughout the book; even when she had to speak as the men in the book it just came out so effortlessly and not forced. There was definitely a good mix of drama, but I’m so glad everyone got their happy ending. I recommend this book. Definitely was an interesting read!!!!
