Slow moving but I like MC. She realizes prejudices and uses them to plan and to her advantage. However, became more and more a romance novel like Cassandra Clare/Sarah Moss vein.

It was a day like any other when suddenly the world changed. The universe reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A place where power is the only thing anyone can truly rely on.

World of Warcraft storyline?

Lots of action but lots of checking on stat changes, which at one point, took two minutes. While some reviewers were bored with alchemy training, I liked the section, as it showed the learning process. If you like WoW, this story will interest you.

Too much time describing everything and everyone. The protagonist is portrayed as a weak woman who is often saved by a man. Cool premise, but definitely can be skipped.

Story
In the centuries since rising up against a cruel, twisted dynasty, the Seven Cities have done much to move past their horrid histories, the memories of ancient monarchs who once fed on the life and blood of their own people. Those with a talent for magic are no longer hounded and slain. The lands beyond the Cities are safe, spared the atrocities the Alescuans once wrought upon them. For 300 years, there has been peace. Then Eska de Caraval, head of the prestigious Firenzia Company, finds herself framed for murder.

Story
In the world of Warbreaker, each person is born endowed with the power of one Breath―which can be sold and collected by others, then used to Awaken objects and even corpses to do their bidding. A few individuals who die in glory return as gods, with the power of thousands of Breath, but no memory of their mortal lives―and are enthroned in the Court of Gods in Hallandren’s capital. To Vivenna and Siri, princesses of Idris, the abuse of Breath and the claim of the Returned to be gods are repugnant blasphemy.
