I have meditated for decades. This book has nothing to offer, except for fans of the offer. If you love the author of this book, it is otherwise I have meditated for decades. This book has nothing to offer, except for fans of the offer. If you love the author of this book, it is otherwise unhelpful. If you need guided meditations, I strongly encourage you to try YouTube or any of the other social media accounts that would be free.

Awful voice. Basically complaining over and over about her life choices but blaming others for them. I can't return it for some reason and it's not worth more of my bother to ask. This has super high ratings probably from people who like the fake / puffed up reality shows. If that's fun for you, you may not like her voice but you'll probably like it. Drama, drama, drama and all of her own doing. I thought it would be more introspective. I enjoy seeing people's character / life arcs but I see no end in sight. I'm bailing out with 7 hours to go.

Easy to use and pick which version you want to utilize for your purposes.

Chapter One is the guided meditation.

Chapter Two is affirmations.

Chapter Three is music for meditation. It is the same track that plays behind the narrator on the previous chapters.

I have done a similar, longer version at a retreat. It's fantastic that this very brief meditation can provide much needed release.

There were moments when this book made me uncomfortable. Hey, it's called Braving the Wilderness for good reason.

The rest of the book either provoked introspection or I already agreed with from living a life on this planet.

I wish everyone would listen to the whole thing - even the uncomfortable parts.

I thought for a little bit that it may be only a 'binaural' style meditation but then the woman gives an instruction on a breathing technique. Then, it's only the sounds. I liked it but it doesn't say it's over so, I kept doing the breathing. That's actually great for a couple of reasons: use this to fall asleep! Or, you can use it to meditate as long as you don't need to have a hard and fast time cut-off.

I feel like the introduction wasn't really necessary for me but it might be good for others to feel trust in the author-it's her personal story. I wanted the guided meditation aspect and it's there. There's actually less than I expected but it's still good. I have extremely limited background in breathwork from my yoga instructor from years ago so, this seems to be focusing on one type. My teacher taught a different style that was varied.

Because I have heard Dr. Eger's interviews previously; I knew a lot of the story. What I expected was more of her reflections on her work experience. Nevertheless, this is a good story to hear for anyone but definitely for people, like me, who are survivors.

I found this book engaging and it has inspired me to pick up the Bible again. I looked at it in the first place because it had great reviews. It seems the majority of complaints is about the author giving specific anecdotes from his life, from friends or students.'

This was exactly what I enjoy!

It is not a bullet points 'cliffs notes' of ACIM but you can get that out of the stories.

I will re-listen!
