Story
Since his first performance at the legendary New York nightclub “Catch a Rising Star” as a 21-year-old college student in fall of 1975, Jerry Seinfeld has written his own material and saved everything. “Whenever I came up with a funny bit, whether it happened on a stage, in a conversation, or working it out on my preferred canvas, the big yellow legal pad, I kept it in one of those old school accordion folders,” Seinfeld writes. “So I have everything I thought was worth saving from 45 years of hacking away at this for all I was worth.”

This book should be a standard read in all schools. Everyone should understand what the Biden family has done to this country. The author uses great public source references to confirm claims.

Story
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Very good book and Narrator.

This is a really good story and the imagery created by the author is amazing. The narrator is one of the best I have listened to. She changes her voice just
enough to switch characters but not so much that she sounds silly. I found myself intrigued by the main character throughout the book. Highly recommend this audible.

Story
James Dommek, Jr., an Alaska Native writer and musician, sheds new light on a real-life mystery that pits Native American folklore against the US justice system. In the vast Alaskan Arctic, legend has it there once lived a mythic tribe—Iñukuns—that only existed in rumors and whispers. This changed forever when an actor-turned-fugitive, Teddy Kyle Smith, had an encounter that brought Iñukuns from myth to reality. Smith was an aspiring actor with a promising career until it all came quickly crashing down with a gunshot, a manhunt, bloodshed, and other frightful events.

Interesting Alaskan Story
Reviewed: 06-03-20
I liked listening to the narrator, who is from a remote part of Alaska. The story is based on true events that I had never heard of before listening to this audible. I liked the descriptions of the characters, the places in Alaska, and learning about all of it in general. I would have liked more closure or explanation of why Teddy did what he did. I guess I was hoping for an interview of Teddy at the end by the author? Overall I found it interesting and informative and enjoyable.

Story
Narrated by Emmy Award–winning actor Martin Sheen, The Home Front: Life in America During World War II takes listeners into the lives of Americans at home—part of the Greatest Generation—who supported the war effort and sustained the country during wartime. The war brought immediate, life-changing shifts: the rationing of meat, dairy products, and sugar; an explosion of war-related jobs; and, despite mixed signals, a greater role for women working outside the home.

I really enjoyed the narration along with the clips of interviews. This audible does a great job exploring world war two for people that were participating back in the United States. I feel like I learned a lot about a variety of things that I never thought of before, such as women being hired by the government to entertain soldiers and more workers being killed in jobs that provided for the war. There is a credit to fact checkers at the end of each chapter. Highly recommend if you find this subject interesting or if you just want to learn some new things.
