Story
For weeks, he stood by my side, twisting his words into pretty half-truths. He enraptured me with his smooth temptation, leaving no corner of my being untouched. He consumed my mind and my body, then finally claimed my heart for himself. But Caelum’s true identity is terrifying enough to bring me to my knees. Then, I discovered the truth of who he is. Caldris is whispered in the Nothrek wind. The legend we only speak of with hushed words, in shuttered rooms, for fear of drawing his wrath once again.

great world building. Male narration so so

The author just great story build and world build. The female narrator was amazing I enjoyed her in the last book in this book. The owneration however always depicted the female main character as whiny are always half sobbing when narrating. every time it came up it made me cringe.

Story
I woke to the soothing sound of a peaceful serenade...except there’s nothing peaceful about being kidnapped after being sold to the Devils of Sin. This never should have happened, because I did everything right. I accepted the invitation, attended the masquerade in the depth of the forsaken forest, and danced with whomever requested. The longer one remains, the more debt is cleared from the family name, so I danced through the night. I survived to the final note—and let me emphasize the survive part—but I’m starting to realize where the real problem lies.

really loved the voice acting on this one!
only issues were the banter between the main character and her friend always saying b**** to each other. some of the detours in the plot messed with the flow as well. but the story was different and refreshing idea.

Story
Real wolves bite...I was taught my whole life about the importance of true mates, how when you find that one wolf for you, everything falls into place. Everyone who taught me that was a liar. When I found my true mate, happily ever after sure as hell didn't start, but hell definitely began. I ran away, and now I've been searching for peace for weeks as I drive around the country. I didn't mean to take the wrong road. I didn't mean to make it to that small town. And I didn't mean to meet two men, who set me and my wolf on fire.

narration is sloppy and mispronounced words
Reviewed: 09-14-22
there were choppy areas where you can tell the narrator forgot to cut out where there was an interruption or she has messed up.
her pronunciation of Alistair and lichens was horrendous. it was hard to listen but I got through it... hoping they don't narrate the next one

Story
He’s one of my father’s guards at the castle. Goes by the name Mastodon. There’s something about him I don’t like. He takes me into a cavern, and we descend deep underground - to the Bottom of the Cliffs. When I leave for the Capital, Mastodon escorts me. And just as I feared, he kills my guards and captures me. Then he tells me why he’s doing this. Because my family took everything from him - and now he’s about to do the same.
