Inner monologue was torture.
Reviewed: 12-12-24
Part 3 was torture to get through. Way too much inner monologue from Feyra. They made her seem weak for the entire war. She only used her powers in part one I think. I wanted to scream. Ugh

Story
How did I end up playing fake fiancée to a runaway criminal? Well, I was supposed to get married today—but that’s a whole other story. The part that matters is that I took the car and ran, still in my wedding dress. I promptly crash said car into a bridge, and when I get out to check the damage… I'm disoriented and fall right into the river below. That should’ve been it for little old me. Goodnight. Close the curtains. Roll the credits. Drowned by my own wedding dress—how morbidly appropriate. But then someone saves me.

I skipped like so many chapters because Kinsley was so annoying. It started off good and went downhill after the first few chapters. She was so selfish and weak. Ugh.. Like who keeps a father from seeing his daughter knowing she tried to commit suicide. I have no plans of listening to the second book in the series.

I’m not happy with the ending
Reviewed: 11-30-24
*Spoiler alert *
Yuri was a disgusting traitor and didn’t deserve a happy ending. Matvey was annoying for the better part of the first book with his always talking about how only blood matters. That still didn’t excuse how Yuri turned on him and the way he treated April in the end. I was hoping Petra put a bullet in him or that he was killed off somehow. That would’ve made it a happy ending for me.

What a great finale to a phenomenal series. The character development was great. The chemistry was great, between lovers and friends. The narration was great. I plan to read it all over again. I’m too sad to see it go.

Reviewed: 11-14-24
Persephone wasn’t annoying in this book like she was in the second when I almost gave up on the series. Her character matured very well. There’s great action in this book along with their love story. Their relationship has blossomed and matured too. I love it. On to the final in the series. I’ll be sorry to see it go.

Spoiler alert:
The letter at the end contradicts verbal and physical aspects of the manuscript. Don’t entertain the fact that it’s the truth. She was nuts. End of story. I don’t know why people were thrown off by it. Not creepy enough for all the rave reviews. This audiobook was pretty self explanatory. Also, Lowen and Jeremy barely had chemistry. That was disappointing. I bought this out and I wish I could get a refund.

It's not every day your dean is a 6'4" dark god with ocean-blue eyes and a dimple. Just looking at him makes my heart pound and my stomach flutter. He's intense, filthy, and forbidden. Not to mention, he's my sister's ex-boyfriend. If I were smart, I'd walk away. Lines are getting blurred. Boundaries are being tested. And rules are about to be broken.

I achieve everything I set my mind to. Escape my childhood circumstances and come out on top? Check. Become one of the most powerful billionaires on Wall Street? Check. Meet the picture-perfect woman and make her my wife? Well, I might've hit a snag on that one. When an angry, curvy redhead crashes my blind date, I should just forget her and move on. After all, she's the opposite of what I'm looking for: quirky, awkward, and completely uncharmed by my riches.
