Good story, love the shift story angle and perspective. Love the world but some characters I hate but that's good story telling. The universe is awsome.

The narrator saves a meh story

It's not as good as the first and feels a bit cheap. The narration is a blast tho.

Great story hard tipics
Reviewed: 03-20-24
It's clear that the writer is trying to build the story. And even tho it's fantasy is dealing with some hard topics that are quite topical. I. Am looking forward to the next book in the series

Peacetime can be a rough adjustment for the battle-hardened Merry Band of Pirates.
Especially when aliens don’t get the memo that the shooting is over.

The series is great but it has a rithm
Reviewed: 01-22-21
The series is great but it has a rhythm. A setup book than an epic book. This book is clearly a setup, and the first time I got bothered by R.C. Bray tone difference you sometimes can hear if they cut to recording sessions together.
I do believe its a nice continuation of the series. I do hope there will be a nice round robbin around it eventually and we not get a 20 more of this buildup suspense buildup books.
