disappointed

Sadly, I was disappointed in this book. Not only did it not have the normal camaraderie between the women's murder club but it made Claire seem quite silly at times. This strong character would not have reacted like she did in this book. Missed the original narrator too. Glad it was a short story .

Excellent short play about what goes on in a room of jurors. Still applicable to today's world. nice range of "peers".

Loved this book! it's informative about the inner workings of NASA and the astronauts. Well worth the credit and the time. I learned much more than I expected to. Great to listen to as well, enjoy Bronson P's voice very much.

Story
Faded photographs of a glamorous couple in postwar Europe. Old letters hinting of tragic loss. And a breathtaking array of magnificent jewelry, spectacular stones in exquisite settings. These are the contents of a safe-deposit box long abandoned in a New York City bank. If no heir can be identified, the jewelry will be auctioned. But who was the woman who left such a fortune and no will?

loved the story, no big surprises but a gentle story of past and future entwined. love stories were good, not overly dramatic or explicit. typically I read legal thrillers so this was a very pleasant change of pace. i liked the characters and the narrator did a fine job.
