Almost Full Circle..... perhaps?????

The last minute...well, let that sink in...
I have read everything Joe Ledger... and I do mean everything..., so as I listened to Ray spin his magic, I could tell this would be a set up for the end..... we all know what happens when Lucifer jumps the leash.
As all the characters from the past appeared, I wondered, as perhaps most of us do, who would it be??
1, 2. ....3... Chatterbox, Dancing Duck, Gus, Brick,.... who???

Here is the funny part, I just introduced my lady, my Junie Flynn, to the Ledger series and she is hooked and hooked hard.
It is so neat to see her react and to remember how I reacted to the books.

So, I listened and waited and worried.

I am pretty sure the next book is the last for Rogue / Echo Team as we know it.
The Alchemist should reveal so much about so many....

To Jon... thank you for these adventures.
To Ray, thank you for the voices and the journey.
To my fellow fans.... HOOOAAAHH!!!

First and as always, thank you Ray Porter. I know I have missed cast off characters and their voices you so superbly applied to each.

I can only hope Mr. Freed does not take as long to give us another installment in the CL series.

It made me smile, laugh, and in many ways relate to Cordell Logan annndd, I will be using a few of those one liners myself.

Well, well, as usual and with the standard of a seasoned professional,
Ray Porter does it again.

The premise and science of the novel offer a glimpse and a hope of one day opening a gateway, although ever so small as 4 minutes into the future or at least a near future.

A great read and I hope an even better follow up book.

The story makes you believe

I started this book series as a whim. Then I couldn't stop.... The characters are well rounded and the plot is plausible.

I am at a loss for words..... I now know a little more about my friends. Top Sims and Bunny and Captain Joseph Edwin Ledger. Of course, our fellow warriors , Dancing Duck, Chatterbox, and Ivan, Donkey Balls, have gone on before us, but at least they fell defending those who could not defend themselves.

Always interesting

I find it most interesting to explore different versions of societal breakdowns and resulting actions. What can go wrong and what can be done.... right?
Dennis has always offered the reader/listener a special view. Ok it's his view but perhaps it is the method and fashion in which he articulates his view.
Of course and as always, thank you Ray Porter i.e. the OG BAAAABBBBBB!

What a Ride!!!!

First things first, a major fanboy moment for Ray Porter!!! I think the trilogy is almost 75 hours long with a cast of as many characters and unique voices. This is Ray's masterpiece. I listen in awe of how he can remember each character's voice.

There is a special moment when the reader/listener becomes so deeply immersed that you dream about the book, and in the case of these boos, start using the Spanish words and phrases is you thoughts and spoken word.

If you have a long drive and want a great story, these are a great choice. And yes, it does have a special slant toward the end, but the reality is we as a nation have elected so real idiots in the past 6 years. I hope we get a real and solid candidate this next time.

Yes, it does get a little geeky, but hey, I learned a little more chemistry and mechanical engineering with the book. I can seriously say that Andy needs to think about working with Dennis Taylor. This is a great pilot for a special series and I am eagerly awaiting the next evolution. Of course and without a doubt, Ray Porter did a great job with the narration. I am curious to hear what voices Ray comes up with for the other Aridions a.k.a Rockies. Will Sol, send out a rescue party? Will they head out to the other Star systems? I cannot wait to find out. Thank you again Andy.
