I liked that this book has a female lead size 18 with real curves. She is confident and sexy despite an abusive ex. I enjoyed hearing an update about Roxy and life in NYC versus the country.
I preordered this book and I was not disappointed!

I have really enjoyed the Assassins series. I love how we get to have updates about previous books' characters and the whole franchise feels like a team.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! I was dying to find out how things would turn out with the couple and get the updates on all the marriages and children of previous couples!

It is one of my most favorite slow burn romances. We really get to know the characters before them come together.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked learning about what life is like as a soccer player and coach.
What does Callie Dalton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I love being able to listen to books and keep on with my busy life. The narrator brought the characters to life!

Jason Thorn...my brother's childhood friend. Oh, how stupidly in love with that boy I was. He was the first boy who made me blush, my first official crush. Sounds beautiful so far, right? That excitement that bubbles up inside you, those famous butterflies you feel for the very first time - he was the reason for them all. But you get to live in that fairy tale world only until they crush your hopes and dreams and then stomp on your heart for good measure. And boy did he crush my little heart into pieces.
