Lip smacks are driving me crazy!

Seriously, the lip smacking is making my spine hurt, never mind my ears! Also, the editor must have been also tipping the wine bottle because there are so many repeated lines its insane. Brandi was never my favorite HW but wanted to read her books for inside scoop. Story is good but she still seriously narcissistic.

Even at listening at 1.25 speed, this has got to be the most painful narration I have ever heard! Honestly, you get the impression that Teresa doesn't know any of the stories in here. "My (pause pause pause) dad would (pause pause pause) slap the (pause pause pause) table just like my (pause pause pause)...", you get the point. Also, it is in complete monotone. She describes the humiliation of bending over at intake the same way she describes her mother doing laundry, no emotion at all. I can't believe this was the best take. I only hope she never read to her girls because if it is anything like this, they would all hate books!

Seriously the audio is terrible. I have upped speed to 1.75 to get it to sound somewhat normal. You can hear rustling of papers, scratching of the microphone and slurring tired mumbling of Burt. You can tell they just got tired of doing it and said forget it just post it. Save your credit and buy the book instead. Listening to Burt, will only make you cringe and forget about the actor he once was.

Can't Stand Corey Feldman but Loved this book

I have never been a Corey Feldman fan at all. Of course I loved The Goonies and Stand By Me but not him. But this book was something I figured why not it has to be at least comical if nothing else. To my utter shock, I loved this book. Everything about it. The way he tells his story, the narration and characters he truly makes you believe there are many people reading to you, and being brought back to my own childhood and hearing about movies and people I had hanging on my wall. My only issue is not anything to do with this book but with Audible itself because it seems like every book I have been getting lately cuts off, returns to chapter one and many other glitches (yes I am on the latest update) which has got me so frustrated that I have exchanged the past few books without getting through them out of aggravation but even with this issue, I couldn't not finish this book. I found myself bookmarking to make sure that when Audible decided to bring me back to Chapter 1, I would at least have some clue as to where I left off. This is a must listen to and now I find myself hoping to find another book that will get me past wanting to throw the phone and keep listening!
