I guess I miss understood what this book was to be able. I hate books that don't end with a happy ending. I'm hoping this was just a cliffhanger but if not I am very disappointed in this book.

I really liked this book. Did I love it, no. Was it a bad book? Absolutely not! I there a couple in this book? Yes! But I would not call it romantic, more like there is a couple that comes together. There is a lot to this book as in history. There is magic but it's more like small miracles. Do I recommend you read this? Yes, yes I do.

If you love slow burn this is a must for your library. I have read all Mariana Zapata's books and I think this is my new favorite. These are the books you never forget, hard to put down and you will want to read over and over again. The audible was amazing.
