Loved this book the narration was superb and captivating. This is an absolute must read.

Yum yum yum!

Zoey has to be one of my top favorite sci-fi romance authors. This is the first book I've listened to so far on Audible, and I am counting the days until she gets the next Horde King book up on Audible... but... maybe I can't wait! I'm definitely in love with these gentle warriors. If only we could get to Dekkar. I loved how she gave us a dark warrior with a huge heart. Superb!

Great story!

The storyline is fantastic and unique. I definitely enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It was well written and narrated.
The narrator does a fantastic job with the characters and the voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters.

over all I enjoyed this.

I struggled with wanting to put it down. I was slightly let down by the ending of the main character and her story. however they opened up perfectly for the next book. the narrator did an awesome job.

This book has everything, great story and look forward to the next book. Characters were perfect for each other.

Wow! This is my first Zoey Draven book and I'm honestly impressed. Plus, since I have been going through a tiny bit of GOT withdrawals, this book has helped me out of that funk for a day lol. I need to read more barbarian books, it sounds like its a whole new world being immersed in that genre type. I can't wait for book 2 since the epilogue hinted of whats to come next. Im wondering also if there is an overall theme arc to the series as well, which I think there will be. Zoey is hoping for Oct. 2019, I have read on her fb page.

I HIGHLY recommend the audiobook, Lia Langola did an amazing job narrating.

Good new series

The initial book in the Horde Kings of Dakkar is a good read. I am headed off to add the rest of the series to my wish list.

Nice could of use the guy's point of view

The story is on point and steamy. Only thing I would had like is to hear from the main male character. It would have been more interesting to hear half of the from his point a view.

The story is really good.......

I liked the story and character development. Honestly, my only issue is with how annoying and whiny the main female character is. It seems like shes just bitching through the whole story. You get all this exposition that sounds like her coming to terms with her situation and then its right back to her whining again, it distracts from the story you're trying to follow.

AMAZING!!!

This story was incredible! Both the h/h were interesting, strong willed, and good hearted. I loved them both. I loved their romance.

While the narrator was a great performer, her voice and pronunciation detracted from the dialogue somewhat. Idk if it was a lisp but her pronunciation was off. Also the entire first half she sounded like she had a cold and was talking with her nose plugged (couldn't get past it). Then all of a sudden her voice either cleared up or I got really really used to it.

I highly recommend this and cant wait for others in the series!
