So many reasons to listen to this one...
Reviewed: 10-13-19
I have so many horror titles in my library, but this one has just soared to my list of favorites. For the sensitive listener, sorry it’s not for you! R-rated!! But as a fierce parent, I am so on board here. This is a story of a great father that would move heaven and earth for his daughter. We go through his struggles with his job and his family... everything is upended. Everything is revealed! The whole “what’s done in the dark will be brought to the light” in the worst possible way... yeah... this book has it. This book had me listening everywhere I went and I couldn’t get enough. I’m glad I bought it. It’s not your usual scary story and I look forward to seeing more from this author. The delivery from this narrator was awesome as well!! I’ll be looking for more from both of these guys in the future!!

When Freya Miller is struck by tragedy, losing her husband and her home within a short time, she is burdened with many worries. The main one being where she and her five-year old daughter, Skye, are going to live. A chance meeting with the charismatic Dr Marsden changes all that. He offers the young mother the most amazing opportunity: an apartment at one of London’s most exclusive addresses for a fraction of the market rental cost. It’s an offer Freya simply can’t refuse.

Predictable yet enjoyable enough

I enjoyed it even though the ending was pretty obviously laid out... I didn’t mind knowing how it was going to end as long as I was entertained during the process.

Not worth it

I wasn’t able to really get into it... the accent was off.. in and out and the story was hard to follow.. in the end, after falling asleep on it too many times, I just refunded my credit back...

I wasn’t expecting that

I’m not a fan of zombie movies.. apparently I don’t mind a well dressed zombie story lol in my defense, I wasn’t expecting this little twist on an already overly milked cash cow.. not that I’ll be out here looking for all things undead, but I can finally say I completed something with zombies, start to finish, and I didn’t regret it at all...
