Story
My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods...or monsters. I still can't decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me. Then there's Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn't felt anything for a hundred years.

Classic tropes but overall great

This book has so many good parts it’s hard to choose, chapter 67’s twist has me on my toes!
One complaint I do have is that she(grace) is a little…dumb. The classic girl who’s parents are gone, she’s in a new world, two really hot boys like her, and gets in harms way, but she has good character development, grows to be a stronger person. Lol face it we all like a damsel in distress anyways.
The voice actors are pretty good, just a little one note sounding. Flat tone. But other then that I’d listen to these actors again.
Overall, just the book I’ve been wanting since I finished Twilight and The Red Queen. I would recommend this to 16+. But that’s coming from a 19 year old girl, I know when I was younger I read much more explicit content lol.

I’ve been stuck looking for a series of books after I finished the hunger games and tigers curse series! This gave be a feeling of adventure sense I love castles and daring assassins!
Though this dose get a little loud at the end, and the way she pronounces some of the names gets confusing, overall I love it
