Affirmations are not new and have been researched by real scientists. Most of what is in this book is just marketing fluff to buy this guys affirmations recordings. A lot of the promised results can’t be reached using affirmations.

I found this one while reading reviews for another book that apparently imitates this one, poorly, so I decided to listen to this one.
I did not regret my choice. Its funny and relaxing.
The narration is also good.
Can’t think of anything negative about the book or the presentation

Good book in its own right

If this book was not related to Dune, I believe it would be regarded much better by online reviews.
I was prepared for a mediocre book at best but found that the story is good, the writing is engaging and the narration is top notch.
Its no Dune but it is a good book in my opinion.

Fascinating and insightful account

If nothing else the book is a fascinating account of one man’s journey through the government IT sector.

To me this is also a book about morality. The silent question throughout the book is what would be an acceptable price to prevent 911? How about ww2? What freedoms are we willing to concede to save our loved ones and when we accept that the price is worth their lives?

Behind the legend

Van Gogh is a legend. But you don’t need the book to know that. The book tells the story of the person behind the legend.
The book is beautiful. Even though it is not an easy listen I found myself drawn to it again and again.
Unfortunately the narration is not great. It is not clear who speaks when and foreign language is mixed up from time to time without any indication to what the translation is. It’s although the narrator forgot to read the footnotes and in general feels rushed.
Nonetheless the pronunciation is clear and easy to understand.

More than I expected.

I’m not sure what I expected, but it wasn’t this.
This is a very interesting and also thought provoking book, very dynamic even though at times a bit excessive in descriptions.
I definitely recommend everyone to read/listen to it.
I’m a bit torn about the voice acting. I was annoyed by the tired, very typical to Russians, almost drunken reading in some parts, but, I felt it added authenticity for me. Go figure
