Story
Margot and James are broken up—for good this time. James made sure of it when he dropped the bomb on Margot: that he doesn’t want kids, ever. Then, on the biggest morning of his life, James—an ambitious lawyer at a high-powered firm—wakes up pregnant. He realizes with dread that he is part of a recent epidemic of men suddenly and inexplicably becoming pregnant. His condition obvious to the higher-ups, James is denied the promotion he was expecting, sending him reeling.

On May 1, 1915, with WWI entering its tenth month, a luxury ocean liner as richly appointed as an English country house sailed out of New York, bound for Liverpool, carrying a record number of children and infants. The passengers were surprisingly at ease, even though Germany had declared the seas around Britain to be a war zone. For months, German U-boats had brought terror to the North Atlantic.

Basically a list of facts made more manageable due to audio versus reading the book. Great information, commend author on his research, but would have made a better book if it been told in different way.

Nonfiction is not what I read on a regular basis, however, having a medically - based background myself as well as having loved ones who are dealing with terminal illnesses made this an easy choice. I was not let down. Mr. K was someone I would have wanted to know personally. Smart and very talented , yet humble and kind. I'm grateful that he was able to get these words down on paper.
