Historia
The 19th century was an exciting time of initiative and enterprise around the world. If John D. Rockefeller was creating unimagined wealth in the United States that he would put to the service of the nation, a Parsi family with humble roots was doing the same in India. The Tatas is a tribute to a line of visionaries who have a special place in the hearts and minds of ordinary Indians. Written by seasoned journalist Girish Kuber, this is also the only book that tells the complete Tata story spanning almost 200 years.

Uninformed Opinions
Revisado: 02-04-24
The author makes very flawed assumptions and misinterpretations of personal finance research and professional advice. Therefore the book is misleading and confusing to listeners and clearly not well thought out. Buyer beware.

Historia
In this deeply personal memoir, Schwab describes his passion to have Main Street participate in the growing economy as investors and owners, not only earners. Schwab opens up about his dyslexia and how he worked around and ultimately embraced it, and about the challenges he faced while starting his fledgling company in the 1970s. A year into his grand experiment in discounted stock trading, living in a small apartment in Sausalito with his wife, Helen, and new baby, he carried a six-figure debt and a pocketful of personal loans.

The brilliant insights , very well elaborated.
Revisado: 02-03-24
This is one of the most profound and thought provoking business books I have ever read in my career in the securities industry. I have read plenty of books by leading industry players with story periods dating over 100 years.
Schwab provides a success blueprint for any significant player in the capital markets anywhere in the world to follow in building and growing a successful business. The insights provided here are invaluable and enriching. I only wish I had the knowledge I now have earlier. The book provides the reader/ listener clarity and defines a clear direction to move forward.

Historia
Coexisting but conflicting needs create self-sabotaging behaviors. This is why we resist efforts to change, often until they feel completely futile. But by extracting crucial insight from our most damaging habits, building emotional intelligence by better understanding our brains and bodies, releasing past experiences at a cellular level, and learning to act as our highest potential future selves, we can step out of our own way and into our potential.
