I listened to this to learn more about Freemasons, but this book is geared more towards those Freemasons that are already active in one of their lodges.

I decided to listen all the way through since the writer was talking about his endeavors in one of my favorite cities (San Antonio, Texas).

Even if you are not or do not want to become a Freemason, this book has good ideas to help you become a better leader and to help your community.

This is an awesome prelude to The Wonderful Wizard Oz. After listening to this adaption, my new favorite Oz character is Elphaba, who later becomes known as the Wicked Witch of the West.

The narrator does a great job of bringing this story to life.

In spite of being dealt a bad hand in life, Elphaba is actually a caring person who is fighting for the rights of the talking animals. She is ruthless and fights for good. She cares about doing the right things, about forgiveness, and about love.

I hope there is a part two to this book! I hope Elphie emerges as the hero she truly is.

The voice distracted from the story. This was just a boring listen. I struggled to listen and stay awake. Fortunately, Audible has this book free to listen to right now.

This was an interesting introduction to the origins of Greek Letter Organizations (GLOs). The writer states that GLOs are feeders into major secret societies, like the Illuminati.

Whereas, this is interesting, I would have liked more information backing up this theory; like a bibliography.

I believe the writer's Biblical references are great for Christians (like me) to understand, but how do you get a non-Christian to agree with these findings? You need sound historical proof.

Overall, this is a good listen. I especially liked the part about how the writer talked about demonic spirits and split-personalities. I see this in people who live in a drug- or alcohol-induced state of mind. Definitely something to think about.

This is an interesting review of masonry. It seems like no one really knows its true origins. And, there seems to be a debate of whether members of this group are Godly men or anti-God. If you look at its 33 levels, it points to Godly men. So, why did the Catholic Church think masons were satanic? And, what is the Church's stance today?

I was searching Audible for information about Freemasons and this book came up. It was a short listen, so I figured why not. There was not much in this book about the topic I was wanting to learn about, but it was still an interesting story.

The author, Michael, uses his pen to write about his memories with his late wife, Jeri, who passed away due to cancer during the COVID pandemic.

No longer wanting to write, he tells us that Jeri’s presence appeared to him encouraging him to write about her.

His therapist, believing this was a great coping mechanism, encouraged him to write love letters to Jeri in Heaven.

Don't let the title of this book fool you. Whereas, the author may believe he is experiencing encounters with the supernatural, this book is really not about the unseen world, but rather about his life with his greatest love, Jeri.

This is not a book about the occult, it is a love story. The writer recounts different memories he shared with his wife. Love is grand; Michael and Jeri were blessed to share it.

I would recommend this book to those who want to hear about love that goes beyond ‘until death do us part.’

Great History of Freemasons

I heard the term Freemason in another Audible book and since it was only briefly mentioned, I decided to see if there were any Audible books about Freemasons. I came across this and can say I learned a lot about that group.

I also enjoyed the short chapter about Bible translation.

I don't agree with the few references about Jesus because He was born to be the Savior of this world. He died, was buried, and rose again. He ascended into Heaven; he did NOT move to France after He fulfilled Biblical prophecy.

This book was not a dig against Jesus, or anyone else for that matter. It just touched on what some groups have said.

Overall, this is a very good lecture on Freemasons, its influences, and its different structures.

This was a great lecture on Pride and Prejudice, and on its adaptations into other novels and screenplays. It introduces the listener to other works. I look forward to reading and watching the adaptations that the professor talks about.

This book is a great reminder about doing more than just getting rid of unused stuff. Lots of great ideas for you to do so that your family will know what to do with your stuff and you (if needed) later on life.
