loved everything about it. The thing I loved the most was the inclusion of real science into science fiction, even though you know it's fiction while listening it's easy to imagine it being reality. Great entertainment!!

Story
The Argus Space Station looks down on a nightmarish Earth. And from this safe distance, the Committee enforces its despotic rule. There are too many people and too few resources, and they need 12 billion to die before Earth can be stabilised. So corruption is rife, people starve, and the poor are policed by mechanised overseers and identity-reader guns. Citizens already fear the brutal Inspectorate with its pain inducers. But to reach its goals, the Committee will unleash satellite laser weaponry, taking carnage to a new level. This is the world Alan Saul wakes to.

Neal Asher is easily becoming one of my favorite authors. Zero point is an amazing continuation to book one of The Owners Trilogy, just when I thought he couldn't do any better, Asher outdoes himself again. Well written and full of action from beginning to end. Well narrated by West and Mawson. Worth it.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

It will grab your attention from the first chapter. As always Ray Porter is magnificent. You will not regret this purchase.

Story
Out on his own as a surveyor, Major Corbin sleeps under the stars and calls his own shots. As a one-man operation without powers on a space colony with power-abusing supers, this is the life. Nothing lasts forever. The chance discovery of a mysterious substance changes everything when he gains superpowers and learns that it’s the key to saving the colony from an evil that nobody but he knows is coming. The kicker? Gaining powers means waking an ancient being that might be the difference between saving the universe or dying in the process.

WELL WORTH THE TIME
Reviewed: 01-08-21
Mountain Man is by far the best series ever written in this particular genre. Keith C. Blackmore has out done himself. The protagonist is not our average hero. In fact he is a middle aged alcoholic, with bad hygiene and mental health issues, an average person. That is the genius of the story, your ability to identify with him. I have never laughed so hard, been so afraid, or so pumped up with adrenaline. The roller-coaster ride of emotions makes this Omnibus priceless!!! A MUST HAVE!
P.S. R. C. Bray does an excellent job, amazing performance. OUTSTANDING!!!
