Story
Doris Grandfelt, an employee at an accounting firm, was brutally stabbed to death . . . but nobody knew exactly where the crime took place. Her body was found the next night, dumped among a dense thicket of trees along the edge of an urban park, eight miles east of St. Paul, Minnesota. Despite her twin sister Lara Grandfelt’s persistent calls to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the killer was never found.

not a John Sandford ending
Reviewed: 03-29-25
I feel like the final chapter is missing, I've read/listened to all of John Sandford's books, I look forward to them, one thing I love is they can all stand alone or if, like me, you can follow the series & lives of Lucas, Virgil & now Letty but what happened here? where's the resolution??

Story
Jennie Jensen is touring Europe, already living her dream, when Prince Hugh of Wales—the future King of England—appears at a gig and requests his favorite song. He’s already smitten, and soon so is she. After a secretive, whirlwind romance, Hugh proposes, and when Jennie accepts, her world changes overnight. She’s still learning to navigate the minefield of constant scrutiny, barbed social interactions, and royal protocol (there are rules about pantyhose), as she learns that not everyone in England is excited about the prospect of an American princess.

a little unoriginal

very much a princess diana/Megan Markle storyline which seemed very unimaginative. I struggled to finish and mostly just had it on as background noise. glad it was a daily deal and I didn't waste a credit or much $

Story
Mae Benson was born to run the Sweet Island Inn. She cooks, she cleans, she laughs, she makes a mean pot of coffee, and she always knows which beach to recommend to her guests. But suddenly, that way of life looks very much in danger. On what was supposed to be a happy day—the day her boyfriend Dominic gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him—Mae discovers that a collective of out-of-towners with bad motives intends to usurp her business by building a competing hotel right down the street.

waste of money
Reviewed: 09-16-24
this ending for a series was the worst, nothing resolved, everything up in the air except the message that with family you van get through whatever. well I personally would like to see challenges resolved. this whole series was very open ended and I was hoping to get a little resolution at the end but apparently not. sad I wasted my money on all of the books in this series.
