Another great escape by Elin Hilderbrand

The tourism department of Nantucket owes Elin Hilderbrand a check for all of the people she has introduced to Nantucket. I actually spent a week there a few years ago because of the way she describes the island!

That being said, I am sad that she is not going to be writing anymore Nantucket stories. This one was great, and I loved listening to it. Thanks to Elin for creating these characters and for Erin Bennett for bring them to life.

Being back in Nantucket and hearing the familiar names and places and the feeling that you were right there once again.

I disliked knowing there would be no more Nantucket stories next summer…I will miss them. I always looked forward to her next book. I am glad she will continue writing with her daughter. I look forward to those books. Thank you for the summer fun in your novels.

Loved it and sad to see it end

I can not imagine not having another NI book, but this was another excellent read.

Interesting characters that you wanted to know

A perfect “Swan Song” for a great author. I look forward to reading whatever comes next.

Good story but didn’t like the ending

Overall loved the book, except the ending and the narration of last chapter. Had to slow down the speed because she was talking so fast I couldn’t understand who was talking and what was going on!!

Good final book of the series .

Enjoyed the series, however the end of the book was very predictable. Narrator was good overall.

Her best yet

I loved the nuances throughout the book. The characters came to life and made me want to cheer at times. I loved the ending also. Nantucket comes to life in this book

Goodbye Nantucket Elin

Audio performance was superb as usual. Always love the story of rich people behaving badly. Great writing, since I truly despised Leslie and Bull. Appreciated the secret romance between Coco and Lamont. I enjoyed this as Elon’s last novel, but honestly it didn’t hit me emotionally as much as Golden Girl or 28 Summers.

Disappointed

Really disappointed with the ending. I love all of Elin’s books but this one was not my favorite. A little disappointed.
