This lecture was well performed and written. It clearly laid out the reasons the colonies had for first objecting to additional taxes, then for rebelling when those objections were ignored. All Americans should hear this story.

As a fan of Bridget Jones’s Diary and Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series, I found this book to be in a similar vein. It was a short, sweet not too sappy romance. No spice, but a satisfying epilogue.

I like the addition of a new character. Elliot’s character was less developed in the other storyline, so it was appropriate to see how he truly felt about Sarah in this story.

I loved the performance of this story. I was swept away to the busy streets of London where Julia’s love of life and films allowed for a vicariously lived romantic story.

The characters were realistic and had their heads on straight. It wasn’t a picture perfect family or relationship, but the plot was fun and believable. I would love a recipe accompaniment or blog! I want to know what made Sylvia’s a Christmas cake so delectable.

I really enjoyed the story. It had all the expected elements of a Peter Pan story, with a new twist and compelling characters to draw a reader in.

I really liked the narrator, one of the few that really brought something unique to the story. The characters were interesting and the story was a new take on the end of Earth being the only planet with life. I appreciated the description of the alien life forms as well as the humor throughout.

I enjoyed the performance immensely and the story was engaging. Because Impact Winter includes the undead, the audience has to engage with a desire to end the invasion while morally wrestling with the knowledge that vampires are sentient beings who have emotions and feelings, too. The performance was great; it left me wanting more.

Professor Ben Garrod is an outstanding host on this trek back in time to learn about how dinosaurs attained the titanic size. The episode lays out the debate over which dinosaur is the biggest before explaining how these animals got so big. What is most enjoyable (besides Professor Garrod’s likability) is the explanation of the scientific process scientists use to understand extinct animals.

This series is an excellent YA dystopian series with enough home for humanity to keep it from being too dark. Recommend for high school age and up. The story was artfully written with enough hints and twists to keep me interested.
Greg Tremblay did and excellent job performing this book. It was easy to tell which character was speaking because his performance included different voices for the many characters.
I’m hoping that a prequel or side story will be developed as I was both excited to see how the book ended and sad that it did.
