Nathan Davenport, CEO of the Davenport empire, is my complete opposite. He hates chocolate. I'm a size sixteen dessert chef. He only wears black. I love glitter and pink. He's grumpy, while I look on the brighter side of life. Too bad his piercing eyes, and high cheekbones, haunt my dreams. When he offers to loan me the money to save my bakery, I have no choice but to agree.

I really like L. Steeles books. The morally grey man with at least one redeemable quality are the best! Shane East is, also one of my favorite male narrators. He has the prefect voice for these characters. The book is a he falls first and marriage of convenience. It's spicy and full of innuendos. Definitely worth the read.

The story itself is really good and catching

So I loved the book and storyline, but the narration is just painful. I thought I could give this a chance since I have used alexa to read books to me in the past but it did not work for me.
The story itself is interesting though. I find it fairly original and the world built within is easy to visualize.
