Story
From the award-winning, New York Times best-selling author of The Monsters of Templeton, Arcadia, Florida and Matrix, an exhilarating novel about marriage, creativity, art, and perception. Fates and Furies is a literary masterpiece that defies expectation. A dazzling examination of a marriage, it is also a portrait of creative partnership written by one of the best writers of her generation. Every story has two sides. Every relationship has two perspectives.

Just plain depressing.

Would you try another book from Lauren Groff and/or Will Damron and Julia Whelan ?
Maybe. The prose was good but the substance of the story and the graphic nature were definitely too much for me. The characters while well wrought were so awful that I found it painful to listen. If I had been reading, I would have just turned the pages but when listening you are stuck. I kept hoping it would get better…and then it didn't.

Story
Between his work on the 2014 Audible Audiobook of the Year, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark: A Novel, and his performance of Classic Love Poems, narrator Richard Armitage ( The Hobbit, Hannibal) has quickly become a listener favorite. Now, in this defining performance of Charles Dickens' classic David Copperfield, Armitage lends his unique voice and interpretation, truly inhabiting each character and bringing real energy to the life of one of Dickens' most famous characters.

The best sort of reading for the best sort of story. Mr. Armitage does Mr. Dickens justice.
