Story
Before the being called the Emperor revealed himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future.

A lot of value for 1 credit

It's a fairly original storyline. As others have said it is a clean book to share with younger family members. It's very long, there are many hours of entertainment for a very low price. This is a good buy if you are looking for a fantasy and book and not really sure what you want.

Just "OK"

I was hoping for the beautiful imagery that was brought to life by a great narrator in a book like Across the Nightingale Floor, but I was disappointed. This is an OK book but not one I would move to the top of someone’s must read list. Again this wasn’t bad it was just OK.

“It happened fast. Thirty-two minutes for one world to die, another to be born". An epic and gripping tale of catastrophe and survival, The Passage is the story of Amy - abandoned by her mother at the age of six, pursued, and then imprisoned by the shadowy figures behind a government experiment of apocalyptic proportions. But Special Agent Brad Wolgast, the lawman sent to track her down, is disarmed by the curiously quiet girl and risks everything to save her. As the experiment goes nightmarishly wrong, Wolgast secures her escape - but he can’t stop society’s collapse.

Buy the book, it is a great value

I love long books and this one did not disappoint. This was very reminiscent of one of the big Stephen King books like The Stand or Under the Dome. Not as good as The Stand but Better than Under the Dome. For the people that complain about the ending find me a long book that ends the way we think it should and I will eat it.
Buy the book, it is a great value.

Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

Just a warm up

The overall concept of the book is unique, but age of the main character makes many of his feats somewhat unbelievable. I recommend this book only as a good prequel for "Speaker for the Dead" which in my opinion, is very good, original Sci-Fi.
