Virtual voice was terrible
Reviewed: 02-11-25
This story was cliche but interesting. The worst part was the virtual voice which could reflect the tone of the characters or get pronunciation right. Very distracting from what was otherwise a good story. I won’t be listening to more from this author. I would pay more for a story with a real live performance.

Great but virtual voice is terrible
Reviewed: 01-21-25
This is a great story full of twists and turns. It kept me guessing. Virtual voice is terrible. It distracts and can’t get inflection right. Morgan’s southern accent was lost. It can’t handle names such as Leon, stuttering, or inflection. I recommend reading the book and forgetting the audible version.

This story, excellently written and marvelously read, is a wonderful standalone story to a great series. It kept me up at night and had me enthralled on my breaks. I won’t give away any of the story other than to say it is a masterful and satisfying work. I’m only sad that it’s over. I’m sure that I’ll be listening to it again.

Once again, the author engaged us from the very fist scene. Her knowledge of dog training and use in law enforcement is astounding. Th story was filled with day to day activities while never losing track of the mystery, which was cleverly woven in. It kept me guessing until the end.
The narrator was perfect and her tempo and cadence was excellent.
A wonderful story with a wonderful ending.

In this story of three generations we get to glimpse into the world of colonial and post colonial India. This is beautifully written and the author as narrator is perfect. It is like unwrapping layer upon layer to get to the center, which is a gift. Highly recommended.

This story and its narrator were perfect. My only complaint was that it left me wanting more stories of Coyote Canyon. Jane and Kurt are perfect for each other and I loved every delicious curve and twist. Now we just need stories for Averil and Kate. Don’t miss any of the trilogy to date. Each story is unique and each one just gets better.

Enigmatic. With a wildly gifted mind, and an untamed head of hair to match, petite powerhouse Millicent Frost is brilliant when it comes to gadgets and electronics—less so with people. After an attempt to bust a bank scam goes awry, Millie is in hot water with Homeland Security and targeted by lethal enemies. In the midst of the trouble, she heads home to help out with the family hunting and fishing business. But when their rival competitor and Millie's ex is murdered, she's the number one suspect.
