Story
Garth had been the favorite for the number-one draft pick in the next season of the USA's top sport. His college career was supposed to end on a high note… but it didn't. Sabotaged in his final game, he found himself shut out of the Dungeon League of America, forced to retire his jersey in shame. With no other options, he leaned on his university degree and became a licensed psychiatrist and therapist. That should have been the end of his dungeon-crawling days. But then, a new dungeon appeared in his city.

I like it but...
Reviewed: 02-22-25
one or more of the authors does not know the difference between the fear of and or have a strong aversion to something and having the belief that your race is superior to another or that a race is worth less consideration than a rabid animal.
The naga resonates with me because my Mon has a strong aversion to big burly men like my dead father who was physically abusive and controlling this phobia extends to other creatures like large power dogs. Orcs ruined the nagas childhood and traumatized her severely and is shown to avoid and ignore orcs in the story even cry out in terror if one touches her and these authors call her racist. anyone with a functioning brain and was not raised by current day brown shirts would call it a phobia of Orcs or a strong aversion to them.

Story
She's unlike any one or any thing else: a Non-Standard Leashed-Intelligence Cybernetic Enforcer aka NSLICE-00P. The first of her kind, she's let loose into a universe of superheroes on behalf of her sinister masters to destroy all who oppose them. And everything's going according to plan—until NSLICE-00P gets hacked and sent into the past to kill her own creator before he creates her. Obeying orders as always, she wastes the poor guy. Unfortunately, there are consequences to initiating a reality-breaking time paradox. The most significant: total ejection from that reality.

Story
For nearly all of my life, I trained to become a master assassin, but at the height of my career, it all fell apart. I was betrayed, ambushed, and left bleeding out on the streets of London. Just before my death, though, I was offered a choice: Stay and let my life come to a swift and brutal end, or become the personal assassin of a god in another world. It wasn't a hard decision. But this new world isn’t like the one I left.

daniel sucks, he drags out pretty much all the books he narrates. I shouldn't have to increase the narration speed to not cringe when listening to an audio book.

Story
Shifted by quantum entanglement from Earth to an alien planet, military contractor Zander Greaves and his squad would have to adapt—and quickly—if they wanted to live. As they tried to understand what was happening, the stark truth of their new reality thrust itself on the shaken humans. Giant machines of war were attacking an equally humongous bug. And, quite unfortunately, the giant bug had a lot of little friends.

not good beyond the first book
Reviewed: 02-20-25
after this book the author pushes contemporary political themes, such has nonbinary and other things. the series could have been great if the author could have kept the real world out of the fantasy story.

writes for the modern audience no escapism for you
Reviewed: 02-18-25
I read fantasy to escape from reality for a bit. the for the modern audience approach the author decided to go with ruins the escapism by dragging you back to reality with contemporary political elements.

Story
Marcus was never a hero... and he never wanted to be. He never wanted a lot of things. He didn't want to go to school for a pointless degree. He didn't want to be an office drone, working nine-to-five to barely make ends meet. Most importantly, he didn't want to play by other people's rules. He wanted to do things his way and live life on his terms. Some people might have called him a criminal, but he called it freedom. Too bad it got him killed. When everything changed, death didn't take like it used to.

Story
As a child, I was nearly killed by a demon, and ever since, the only thing I've cared about is becoming a blood knight. Using the mana inside my blood to protect others from the monsters that plague the world. Eight years I devoted to training, and finally, I was ready to be tested. My blood was measured and assessed, laid bare for all to see. And it was found wanting. I was given the lowest rank possible, just barely meeting the requirements to take the prestigious Sanguine Academy entrance exam. But I aim to prove them wrong.

for free this was Great if I paid for it I would probably have buyers regret liked it. not sure If I want to spend credits to continue the series.
the reasons I would have regret is the awkwardness the mc has with the love interests is something that would fit in the MC's virginity is protected story not a harem or the MC get laid type.
other than that it's a fun story.

the author is racist the mc is racist the ship is racist space is racist everything is racist blah blah blah and yada yada yada. /jk /s
on one hand the author is writing about sci-fi military, and it seems like effort has been made to know what is being written and shits on the military character from earth because he's male and not attracted to aliens with animal features? the hole time it's like the military dude is on a mission to take back what he learns back to earth, and the author portrays him has not even trying to learn how to use mana and just wants to use weapons. I'm sorry but my suspension of disbelief can't handle this bullshit.
this might be where I get off or not depends on how the book finishes still have a few hours left has of leaving this review.
