Story
In mid-nineteenth-century Ireland, a small girl arrives on the same dock her mother departed from six years earlier. Laoise Hogan is alone, traumatized, and bearing letters from her mother addressed to the man who abandoned them. Sir Lucius O’Brien, 5th Baronet, 13th Baron Inchiquin, is summoned to Dublin by an orphan society. He finds himself face to face with a small girl whose haunted face looks eerily similar to his brother's.

I really enjoyed this whole series and am so sad to see it come to an end! I listened to the first nine books again before listening to the last. Great introduction to the history and persecution of the Catholics in Ireland, wonderful romance and suspense!

Narrator needed better preparation

Story was pretty good, but the narrator was frustrating to listen to. She consistently changed how she pronounced one of the main characters names and mispronounced several other words.

Story
Her career in homicide has taken her into the darkest depths of New York City’s underground - and sometimes Lieutenant Eve Dallas feels more comfortable in those kinds of places than in the high-rise, high-society world of her billionaire husband, Roarke. But while she’s no party girl, she’s managing to have a reasonably good time at the celebrity-packed bash celebrating the debut of The Icove Agenda. This time it’s Eve, not Roarke, who’s a guest of honor, since the film is based on one of her famous cases. Her partner, Peabody, is practically giddy....

Another excellent JD Robb story

I love this series. The author is always so good at creating characters with depth and a sense of humor. I have been reading Nora Roberts aka JD Robb books since she was first published. There is a good balance between romance, suspense and continuation of the overall storyline and character development in this the series. I particularly enjoy the dialogue between Dallas and Roark and Dallas and Peabody. I have the books but prefer to listen as the narration is so good. Erickson does an amazing job of portraying male and female voices with different accents and subtleties. She really brings the stories to life and truly is gifted!

Story
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.
