Gilson's title appropriately scratches the surface of a culturally nuanced that can provide a solid, biblical foundations for how Christian parents and caregivers can weigh the LGBT messages against the loving truth of Scripture. From encouraging parents to defend against avoiding the issue altogether, to tangibly explaining GOD'S redemption in both platonic and romantic relationships, to calling the LGBT agenda for what it is (the good, bad, and neutral parts of it), I'd recommend this to any caregiver needing guidance on how to broach LGBT topics with their minors.

Gold Standard for Biblical Marriage in my Opinion
Reviewed: 01-26-25
Marriage takes work ethic - like cultivating a garden does. Serving the Kingdom of GOD rather than my little kingdom of self. Strengthening my vertical relationship with GOD so that it influences my horizontal relationship of marriage. Those three ideas stick out the most for me after listening to this book, and I am very grateful as a husband, father, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor that I took the time to digest the education from Paul David Tripp.

Story
In Indigenous Continent, acclaimed historian Pekka Hämäläinen presents a sweeping counternarrative that shatters the most basic assumptions about American history. Shifting our perspective away from Jamestown, Plymouth Rock, the Revolution, and other well-trodden episodes on the conventional timeline, he depicts a sovereign world of Native nations whose members, far from helpless victims of colonial violence, dominated the continent for centuries after the first European arrivals.

Indigenous Continent indeed
Reviewed: 11-10-24
I appreciate authors point of view because I was sort of tired of hearing Indigenous people's history from a victim's point of view. They are the heroes of this story being told - which doesn't necessarily mean that they were without their crimes neither. Nevertheless, the stories detailed in this title show how much Indigenous influence catalyzed and continues to flow in the United States of America.

Story
In this monumental work of moral and political philosophy, Plato sought to answer some of the world's most formidable questions: What does it mean to be good? What enables us to distinguish between right and wrong? How should human virtues be translated into a just society? Perhaps the greatest single treatise written on political philosophy, The Republic has strongly influenced Western thought concerning questions of justice, rule, obedience, and the good life.

Towards the end of the appendices, John Piper states something like how too much is at stake (eternity actually) for us not to delight ourselves in GOD. Therefore, we must pursue pleasure in the UTMOST HIGHEST first and foremost. I am very grateful for this work's contribution to my journey towards going from glory to glory.
