Award Finalist American Fiction Awards & Award Finalist Best Thrillers Awards Sea of Red is an action-packed Military Thriller involving a war between China and the U.S. in their fight over Taiwan. With Chinese hypersonic cruise missiles thundering toward the aircraft carrier USS Reagan, the captain has only minutes to decide how to save his crew of 5,000 before they all end up at the bottom of the South China Sea. Obviously, not a huge fan of the virtual voice, but story was very entertaining. Will be looking up this author’s other work.

Story
The United States had launched a massive missile launch against China’s two invasion fleets sailing for Taiwan. B-2 bombers had flown across the Pacific and submarines had risked giving away their positions to add to the onslaught of anti-ship weapons fired by task force destroyers and B-2s flying out from Guam. China had sustained extensive casualties among its escorting warships and landing ships, but they had endured the crossing of the Taiwan Strait.

More of the same. Very marketable if translated to Chinese for that market. They might buy it.

Hundreds of small stories that don’t weave together well. This series makes you “pay your dues” because last 3 books were bad and still feel like I have to finish. Would prefer to hear the book from an American perspective.

Story
With war threatening large on the Korean Peninsula, two massive convoys have departed Chinese ports. Dubbed the Northern and Southern invasion fleets, this collection of warships, landing vessels, and merchant ships are aimed straight at the island nation of Taiwan. First though, they must cross the Taiwanese Strait. Past the twelve-mile limit of China’s territorial boundaries, American submarines and bombers are waiting to pounce.

Not a big fan of the storyline. Very meandering. Another shorter book to make sure we are continuing to buy.
First book or two was money and now it’s just about extracting more.

Story
Artillery duels between the allied forces in South Korea and the seven thousand guns of North Korea ranged across the DMZ. With much of the North Korean aircraft destroyed during the preemptive attacks, South Korean and American attack fighters sortied from bases to strike at the leading North Korean columns. Skirmishes broke out between forward screening units. Nerves were on edge as the major ground units of the north and south were about to collide head-on. Will the southern defenses hold? Or will the masses of the north force their way through?

If the book was written in North Korea or China, it would be more patriotic to their side. This domestic(?) book was split down the middle and almost celebrates North Korean victories. Books are an escape from reality and not much to hear about a 50/50 battle unless the messages for this country to wake up. If that is a desired message, would prefer not to do it a $17 per book times, however many books. This could be accomplished with one book over 10 hrs.
