Good pace to storyline, closed door sexy times, interesting characters- several types of supernaturals. Not necessarily a cliff hanger, but the series has about 15 titles but only the first 3 are available via audio.

The character was less tenacious and more disrespectful and petulant. After disregarding everyone’s warnings to back off and let the police take care of it she was SURPRISED to be confronted by the killer… I know it’s just a story and what not but MFC was hard to like. This is just my opinion and others seem to have liked this story.

Horrible Female Narrator

Story was fun and as expected for the series and author. Male narrator was AMAZING! I would have really preferred a different female narrator- I almost did not finish several times, but I wanted to see who may be next to be matched in the series and I LOVED Thane in the previous stories so wanted to hear his whole story. Honestly though, the other reviews are correct- flat, weird cadence, awkward breaks in the dialogue, overall blah.
3 stars regarding performance all for the male narration.

Entertaining and True to Author's Style

If you've read/listened to any of the previous 3 books in this series, then you have an idea of what to expect. Likeable characters, light resistance to growing attraction. Steamy sexy time scenes. Narration was fantastic- sometimes a good story can get ruined by meh narration, I feel that the narrators did a great job, especially regarding the secondhand embarrassment scenes!

This title had high reviews overall for story. The narrator however leaves much to be desired. At Chapter 9, and I’m invested in the story but hate that 95% of the dialogue has the female lead ending every line sounding like a question. Also, a weird sounding accent for the female… dontcha know?

Very enjoyable! Narrated? Performed? Well done, the voice inflections made the story easy to follow and kept the characters defined. Storyline flowed nicely, this was not a “heavy” book. If I read it I would classify it as an “light, easy weekender” title.
