Story
A year has passed since the Tournament. Fletcher and Ignatius have been locked away in Pelt's dungeons, but now they must face trial at the hands of the Inquisition, a powerful institution controlled by those who would delight in Fletcher's downfall. The trial is haunted by ghosts from the past with shocking revelations about Fletcher's origins, but he has little time to dwell on them; the graduating students of Vocans are to be sent deep into the orc jungles.

Oh my goodness this book took me on a trip. I loved all the characters (some most definitely less than most though) and I loved the development. The main characters spoke to me and I was easily drawn into this book. I didn't know it was possible to be addicted to a book but this one did it. It was just...oh words can't explain it...and if I try I'll ugly cry again about how beautiful it was. Just read it. Go on. Stop reading this stupid review and go.

Story
Once Olympia Wingfield had been free to devote all her time to her true passion: the study of ancient legends and long-lost treasure. But now, with three hellion nephews to raise, the absentminded beauty has very little time for research. Which makes it seem all the more serendipitous when a handsome stranger strides into Olympia’s library unannounced and proceeds to set her world to rights.

If I ever have to hear the words 'woman of the world' or 'passionate nature' I will find the nearest copy of this book and shred it. It was NOT helped by the narrator. I've stopped an audio only once and this was one of those I thought of stopping. The narrator was so grating and waspish in her speech I wanted to tear my own hair out. Will not read again. Will not listen to this narrator again. Normally love Amanda quick so I will give her another chance.

I will never not read/listen to this book. The narration was amazingly done and even though I abhorred the twilight series and its premise of 'you need a man to be happy' this book wove love in so many wonderful ways it's impossible to forget. The characters were multi faceted and stunning in their complexity. Will read again. And again. And again. And again...so on so forth

This emotional roller coaster is something I will be recouping from for the next couple days. And I will most likely re read this entire series a couple hundred times. I love all of the characters, the complexity, the scheming, the plans, the twists and turns. I just can't get over the heartache and the almost happy ending that was one person short of perfect. All in all, a wonderful conclusion to a glorious ride. Read it, if you want a heart full of glorious.

Story
"Me? A leader? Okay, I did prove that there's more to Inside than we knew. That a whole world exists beyond this cube we live in. And finding that led to a major rebellion—between worker scrubs like me and the snobby uppers who rule our world. Make that ruled. Because of me, we're free. I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again—while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. But then we learned that there's outside and then there is Outside...."
