    We could come at it from the perspective of sibling rivalry, parental shortcomings - something we recently explored in The Age of Adolescence - or the so-called "Developmental Niche".     We explore the interplay between genetics - often the lame excuse that normal crazy people use to explain their lifestyle-induced medical conditions - and lifestyle choices.

    And, as we explain in this video, there is, of course, an interplay between the two but it all boils down to this: when it comes to illness or potential illness, genetics "loads the gun, lifestyle pulls the trigger".

    What lifestyle choices are we talking about? Well, in actual fact, there's just the one!

    Yes, as always, why would I complicate the simple... the one and only choice that we all need to get right is whether or not we're in control of our own state of mind because, when we are, we'll get all the other choices right.
