    Workouts in, two parts: -60 pull ups push ups n squats, holding 5kg plates or weights-then a bike ride from HuiXinXiJieNanKou to Shuangjing about one hour-30 more pull ups with the weight vest, push ups and squats

    Rally! Then a fall! This is a traders’ market for sure!
    A pause on tariffs! Ninety days of relief puts us into July: another bad time for the market.
    China should import more! The point seems to be that China has built a walled-off country within which it EXPORTS to the world, but doesn’t really bring anything in, ie IMPORTS, like the US does. Is this protectionist or just a smart move? Or is it Mao all over again?https://www.cfr.org/blog/china-should-import-more (from 2018)
    Apparently global trade has been slowing for a long time.https://www.cfr.org/blog/ecb-slowdown-global-trade (from 2016)
    If they need to import more, then is it a good time to open a business here? What are the downsides? What are the upsides?
    It looked as though agricultural stocks were doing well in China for a bit, bit that seems to have dissipated. Eg, 巴比食品 (605338). Beer stocks were also doing well, same with EVs or their parts manufacturers: 科林科技 (603626)， 天顺股份 (002800), and then a baby formula company I’ve traded before 贝因美 （002570）.
    Curious: why doesn’t Beijing have more trees, etc.? Security cameras.

    And MORE TARIFFS! Ok, so you tax / put a surcharge on something coming into the country. So why would a country “retaliate” if they were trying to beat the trade war?
    Truth Social, modern media, and the future of social… is it free? Or will you develop your own social media channels?
    Looking at the kids today in class, they’ve got their earphones in, one kid is drawing a picture of me to make fun of my beard, another is on Wechat, another is running a transcription program to see what I’m saying in real time (in Chinese), another has taken a picture of the screen and has translated it. Dude, the language teacher is a liability.
    Xiaomi has a translation pen for a fraction of the cost of the YouDao pen. Soon, they will have translation glasses. Will I want to be in the classroom at that point?

    Let the weekend begin!
    Welp, no double bottom just yet as MARKETS SLAMMED! AAPL drops by $20, OIL crushed, US markets DOWN, CAD UP.
    Dollarama UP with a PERFECT cup with handle formation! Should’ve been watching… but how do you know?
    US taking aim at Quebec and its Bill 96: trademarks, contracts, and work all in French! One of the provinces that has always been very proud of its culture and heritage.
    US also targeting Alberta.
    Will Canada be a country in one hundred years’ time? There is a theory put forth by Jim Rogers, a famous investor who began the Quantum Fund with George Soros, who says that Canada will cease to be a country. I wonder if the US has long term plans to try to disrupt the unity of the country given the disparity from East to West.
    Need to rework the language bot. Need to break it down into more manageable chunks then compile it into an essay.
