    Teen Leadership Academy is a program that connects our businesses, schools, community, governments and non-profits to rising Seniors in high school. Meredith spills all the details on how to apply for the program, what the participants will get to do, and more! APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED NOW so get to the Chamber website ASAP and click on Events, then Teen Leadership Program to apply!

    Applicants will need to provide two recommendation letters. Letters must come from community leaders, faculty members, club advisers, etc. Only one (1) of the letters may be from a school academic faculty. Letters may not be from a parent, guardian, or relatives. For information on submitting these letters, please review the application.

    In 2018, the inaugural class was started right here in Tipp City and Bethel Local School districts. The committee consists of business leaders who see the need to create an opportunity for Juniors, entering their Senior year of high school, to grow and connect within our community. Any student within those parameters, who reside within the Tipp City and Bethel Local School Districts are welcome to apply.

    Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in downtown Tipp City with our annual festive beer and seltzer crawl, to be held 3/7! Stroll through participating merchant locations, enjoy 4oz. samples of craft beer and seltzers at every stop, and soak up the lively Irish spirit. Grab your friends, wear your green, and join the fun – it’s the perfect way to cheer St. Paddy’s Day! 🍺 Sláinte! 🍀 Tickets will be limited – you don’t want to miss out on this year’s beer crawl! This year, we are selling two tickets. One is just for the Beer Crawl. It gets you our commemorative pint glass and 12 beer tickets, each good for a 4oz pour. Tasha Weaver of the Downtown Tipp City Partnership interviews Greg about his book, especially the Frank Harper Mysteries series, and they discuss "A Splash of Scarlet," the latest book in the series! Tasha grills Greg on how he comes up with ideas for the series, how he decided to tie everything into Tipp City by creating a fictional town, "Cooper's Mill."

    They chat about the upcoming book and his plans for future titles in the series, along with some of the inspirations that led to the creation of Frank Harper, the lead character in the series. Learn all the inside secrets, including a few tidbits about secret locations included in the next book. And Tasha has some great ideas about hosting a Frank Harper tour of Tipp City!

    It’s Soup-er Bowl Week in Tipp City! Tasha Weaver from the DTCP and Meredith McKee from the Chamber have teamed up again, this time for a week-long restaurant promotion called “Soup-er Bowl!” Playing off the upcoming Superbowl game, you can warm up this February with this delicious new event hosted by the Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP). From February 3-8, 2025, participating downtown businesses will feature soups on their menus, inviting the community to vote for their favorites.


    How It Works:

    • Visit any participating downtown business and order soup.
    • Receive an official ballot form with your soup purchase.
    • Rate the soup by awarding stars and submit your ballot.
    • Each ballot cast is an entry to win one of 3 DTCP Prize Packs, featuring a handcrafted soup mug from The Hotel Gallery and a $75 Yiftee gift card to spend at downtown businesses.

    Why Participate?

    • Support your favorite downtown restaurants and shops.
    • Discover new flavors and warm up with some of the best soups Tipp City has to offer.
    • The business with the most stars will earn Soup Week Bragging Rights for the year!
