  • MISSING STUDENT'S CLOTHES FOUND ON BEACH CHAIR, FBI SEARCHING
    Mar 17 2025

Sudiksha Konanki and five college friends arrive in the Dominican Republic on March 3. They have booked rooms at the all-inclusive resort Rio Republica in Punta Cana. A couple of days later, Sudiksha and her friends are dancing in a disco, when the resort experiences a 25-hour power outage in some areas. Some reports say that’s when the group of 6 women and two men decide to go for a moonlight walk on the beach. Surveillance videos document Sudiksha Konanki and 5 women, along with 2 men walking toward the beach. About an hour later, surveillance footage shows five women and one man leaving the beach. Konanki apparently stays behind on the beach with Joshua Riibe, a 24-year-old spring breaker from the U.S.

After the night on the beach, Konanki's friends, go on an excursion that Konanki had not signed up for, so they don't miss her as they head out. It is only after Sudiksha's friends return that afternoon, they realize they don't know where Sudiksha is. Tracking down Joshua Riibe, he says he passed out on the beach and when he awoke, he was alone and went to his hotel room assuming Konanke had already done the same, but it had been 12 hours since she was last seen.

Joshua Riibe spent hours being questioned by Dominican Republic authorities over the weekend, including hours of grilling by Attorney General, Yeni Berenice Reyunoso and Navy Vice Admiral Agustin Morillo Rodriguez. Now, Riibe’s passport has been confiscated, and he is not free to leave. Reportedly, Riibe is escorted by police wherever he goes.

  • Mormon Mom CHARGED W/POISONING HUBBY 'DEAD BY COCKTAIL' CLAIMS RIGHTS VIOLATED
    Mar 16 2025

Kouri Richins' defense alleges the Summit County Sheriff’s Office illegally obtain evidence while investigating the death of Eric Richins. Defense attorneys Kathy Nester and Wendy Lewis say detectives violated Richins' constitutional rights and are arguing that evidence be ruled inadmissible during the her murder. At the center of the motion is the "Walk the Dog" letter, and data from her phone and Apple accounts.

Defense attorneys argue investigators took Kouri’s phone without a proper warrant and did not inform her right to remain silent, her right to ask for a lawyer and her right to refuse questioning.

This case begins when on more than one occasion, Eric Richins gets violently ill after having dinner with his wife, Kouri.

Then the pair, who own a successful real estate business, is celebrating a big sale when Kouri Richins fixes her husband a drink. She then goes to take care of the children. Hours later when she goes to bed Eric Richins is dead.

Investigators believe his wife killed him, putting an overdose of fentanyl in his drink. Police also discover that Kouri Richins tried to change the beneficiary to her husband's life insurance.

  • NEW CLUES IN SAN ANTONIO MYSTERY OF TOT BOY’S DISAPPEARANCE: WHERE IS BABY GABRIEL?
    Mar 14 2025

Elizabeth Johnson gives birth to a boy on May 3.

She and Logan McQueary name him Gabriel. Logan says Johnson has trouble adjusting to motherhood. When Gabriel cries, Johnson sometimes puts him in a room by himself so she does not have to hear him.

After a heated argument with Logan in June over her parenting, Johnson flies to Boston with Gabriel to visit her grandmother. Returning to Arizona in August, she meets Tammi Peters Smith during an airport layover in Indianapolis. Johnson, crying and holding Gabriel, attracts Smith’s attention, leading to a conversation about Smith and her husband adopting the baby.

Johnson returns to Arizona without Gabriel. The baby is later found safe at the Peters Smith residence. After Gabriel’s return to Arizona, a family court judge grants joint custody to Johnson and Logan, with Johnson having Gabriel first. Three days later, when Logan tries to pick him up, Johnson tells him he will never see his son again.

Johnson initially claims she smothered Gabriel and dumped his body, but Logan does not believe her. Police confirm Johnson drove with Gabriel from Tempe to San Antonio, Texas, and was last seen with him nine days later. The next morning, she boards a Greyhound bus to Miami alone. She later tells officers she gave Gabriel to a couple at a park near their hotel. Despite extensive searches and investigations, Gabriel, who would now be 15, has never been found.
