Great book!

Strong faith and clarity in presentation make this a book everyone should read. Tony Evans uses life application to show God's presence and will in our lives. I will use this book as a resource forever!

Excellent encouragement for winning life’s race

This book is particularly suited for an individual who is feeling overwhelmed and defeated by past failures in life. It provides example after example of Biblical personalities who hit bottom but recovered—even later in life—to be successful spiritually and even financially. Reminded me of the adage “It ain’t over till it’s over.”

The narrator was excellent at reading the book. My only disappointment is that Tony Evans brings a unique style to presenting through his own speech—his inflection and cadence—so for one who appreciates his style, I would have appreciated having Dr. Evans read the book. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this book.

Perfectly timed Encouragement

I’ve had this book in my library for several months waiting for me to finish it. Today was the appointed day and I didn’t even know it. I loved the way the subject was addressed, the analogies used, and the way it seemed personal to me. It was a reminder of what I need to focus on as I make yet another comeback.
