An answer to my Prayer
I was in the middle of planning a business launch, and suddenly I woke up with an infernal pain in my right ear. I tried to chug painkillers while hoping it'll go away. After 3 days I reluctantly went to the doctor. I got told I had a severe ear inflammation. Which means I had to take antibiotics and he told me to relax.
I'm on welfare from the government and it's running out on Halloween due to our new government. (How's that for Spooky Business?)
Anyways, I had 3 weeks to launch my business, and hopefully make money during November. Suddenly I had no hearing in my right ear, and I felt like a vegetable, unable to do the most basic stuff.
Today it's 3 weeks since my Tower Moment, and my hearing is slowly recovering. So I decided to check out some of my way-too-many unread audio books. I had initially planned to use October to read and take notes to be better prepared for my launch.
I have planned this business for nearly 4 years, with multiple mentors, but today I felt all business strategies was disappeared from my memory. Just thinking about business felt dull.
I started this book, and it's one of the best audiobooks I've heard on Audible (and I've been a member since 2014) I'm only halfway through, about to start exercise 3.
Already I have learned so much, about marketing, branding and storytelling that inspired my own thoughts and ideas.
I always skipped the part about a target audience, because I felt that if you sell water, you sell it to everyone that's thirsty.
Exercise 2 did change my perspective forever, it was like a missing puzzle pieces finally went in the hole, and a sigh of relief went through my body.
TLDR;
This book is so far the answer to my prayer. I have been unable to work on my business launch for 3 weeks, and thanks to Tim Wood, I feel confident about possibly launching my business in less than 2 weeks.
