Dark, witty and fun

This would be an incredible mini series! If you enjoy dark humor, this book is for you. A quick read that may have you questioning yourself as a person at certain times. Would love a sequel!

This is a must have for your collection

Masterfully written and executed. This was an amazing story. I loved it from the beginning all the way to the ending. I couldn’t stop listening.

Did not expect that!

I really enjoyed the story and twist. A dark humor I can enjoy. It was hard to put down the book!

The comedy

It was overall a really good book. The narrator did great as well!!! I really enjoyed it.

Solid Meh

I was so hopeful because I LOVED the dead pan writing style. the story felt a bit rushed and jumpy.

Genuinely interesting to hear a story from the perspective of someone this damaged

The protagonist is an absolutely rotten husk of a person through and through, experiencing positivity so rarely it feels shocking when it happens. Every thought she has is laced with pure venom for everyone and everything around her and the writing carries this through so well it begins to get boring after 2/3 of the story. Thankfully this is when all the mystery threads start coming together so we have less judgy inner monologue than before so it’s not a big deal. Likewise the narrator does an EXCELLENT job of providing uncomfortable and awkward tones and volume to some characters, also to the point of near annoyance. It’s hard to fault a performance for being too good at being irritating but there were times I was seconds away from skipping ahead past certain characters every time they spoke.

Enjoyable premise and a fun mystery that twists well when it should with an utterly despicable protagonist.

Could have been better

The story could have been better. Some parts were too long due to unneeded details.

I love the serial killer personality. I really love the story telling. There could not been a better way to tell or to write this story.

Very interesting fast paced read. I really had fun reading this.

Good story, Great vocal performance, I really enjoyed the pacing, the dialog and the way the book ended. It did get a little rushed the last few chapters but it was overall a really satisfying story.
