I love the women of Premonition Point. All of the stories in this series have been awesome, this one included!
Iris had the perfect life until she found out that her husband was involved with a drug dealer and she was forced to step down as mayor of the town she loved.
When the town is cursed, and the tourists disappear, things go from bad to worse when she is the one accused of the crime.
Iris’s coven and a sexy neighbor are there to help Iris find the person behind the curse and save Premonition Point.
I highly recommend and the narration was great!

Magic Melodrama with Plenty of Action 4.5

This was such a fun and exciting installment in the series. Gabra provides her same excellent quality that sets the tone, think soap opera--breathy, dramatic, emotional. These stories are great candy listens, I usually compare to a Lifetime or Hallmark, things are predictable, guaranteed happy endings, some laughs, some romance that is more flirty than explicit (a note about this later), and honestly the occasional surprise at how much they make me smile or have a gasp of surprise. The villains are so over the top bad I expect them to twirl their mustaches while they cackle an evil laugh and sometimes you think there is no way our heroine will overcome the horribly unfair dilemma but of course you know she will. It's fun, easy, quick, and does not require a lot of in depth thinking, emotion, or focus. But the stories are still engaging and I adore this town and the theme of all these women in their 40s coming deeper into their power and renewing their fervor for life and dreaming about what they desire. I really enjoyed the scenes of the community and coven working together, I think that is a major strength in these tales. We get to explore a lot of territory with Iris from her work, to her family of origin, to her ex-husband, to the magical blossoming she is experiencing, to the budding romance with an attractive neighbor. For anyone who gets bothered by cussing (it doesn't bother me but I like to note it for those that do) there are a few f-bombs dropped throughout the story it caught my attention as I hadn't noticed that as much in prior stories. Also only one romance scene which does the standard fade to black right before sex begins and returns to morning after in the sheets. Though despite the scene lasting for around 3 minutes of audio time some nudity, touching, and body parts are mentioned. So we go beyond a chaste description of a kiss but this is far from erotica. The action was fast paced and towards the end felt a little rushed and forced but still enjoyable. The last chapter you shift to the POV of Carly who is the main character of the next book in the series "Witching for Kismet" and I cringed at first when the initial description is her being an actress. I did not enjoy the volume of the series that focused on this but the chapter quickly established a focus on other issues and veered away from Hollywood--so I am hopeful. The details mentioned in the last chapter and the cliff hanger ending set up have me excited for the next book as the magic is quite different than from the other ladies. This volume quickly became one of my favs in the series and I think fans of Premonition Pointe will love this addition. But as always know what you are expecting listening to a series like this, we are talking about a light supernatural romance cozy not urban fantasy, so more along the lines of the late 90s early 00s Charmed and not Jessica Jones.

I love Premonition Pointe!

I was so happy that Iris got her own story and loved that she joined the coven. I definitely recommend this book, just start at the beginning of the series if you haven't read them yet. Gabra Zackman did an amazing job narrating and it's hard to stop listening once you start.

Premonition Point Rocks!!

This is such a fantastic series! All of the books have had such interesting stories and characters. Deanna Chase never ceases to bring fresh ideas and intrigue to this seaside town!!! I'd live to visit and meet these coven members! ❤❤❤

Deanna Chase does not disappoint!

I listened to Witching For Moxie straight through and enjoyed every second! I love knowing that the characters will get their HEA. Plenty of adventure and laughter thrown in, beautiful relationships with friends that truly care and forgiveness and understanding for family. I love that, like the other Premonition Pointe books, Iris is a strong heroine. She has no problem accepting help when offered, but she's more than capable of taking care of herself. I eagerly await the next book!

Addicting listen!!

Witching for Moxie was filled with mystery, friendship, love, trust, and a little bit if Hocus pocus! I love how the coven embraced Iris and they were quick to help Iris and the town. I enjoyed the mystery and magical spells that happened. The story kept me on the edge of my seat. I was surprised with how easily my anger rose on behalf of Iris with her ex but that is just some great writing!! I’m enjoying this series more and more with each book that releases.
The narrator, Gabra Zackman does a wonderful performance portraying the characters. She truly brings them to life for me. Very easy to follow along as well.
If you enjoy reading paranormal women’s fiction then give this series a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this one so much. I love Iris and Kade’s story in this part of premonition point. I absolutely love this and all the characters.

Book 5 in the Premonition Pointe series has the coven helping the ousted mayor solve the crisis of the towne being cursed so all the tourists are just gone. Of course the new local government wants to blame Iris, the ousted mayor who ended up being fired because her husband was selling drugs and local kids were dying. Now with the help of Grace, Hope, Joy and Gigi, Iris will try to find who really cursed the town and get things back to right. You can count on Deanna Chase for an intriguing mystery, solid female friendships, and lovely romance. So looking forward to the next book in this series.
